It  has  been  two  years  since  we  have  had  a  party  to  celebrate  our  new  members  and  there  have  been  34 

new  members  during  this  time!  We  want  to  invite  the  Society  to  a  meet  and  greet  teatime  at  the  Hokua 

condominium  on  Sunday,  September  22,  from  3:00  to  6:00  pm.  Reservations  are  required  for  the 

security  desk  at  Hokua.    Please  call  Jeannie  Ferrier  at  [not available]  or  email  jeferrier@msn.com  to  make 

reservations.  Parking is available in the Hokua public parking lot. 

Bring  a  small  plate  teatime  savory  or  sweet.    Drinks  will  be  provided.    The cost  is  $2.00 for Caledonian 

members  and  $3.00  for  non-member  guests.  New  members  will  be  sent  a  separate  invitation  and  there 

will  be  no  cost  for  them at  this  event.    We’ll  have  music,  a  game  or  two  and,  of course,  time  to  chat with 

and get to know our new members. A DVD of the 2009 Gathering in Edinburgh will also be shown.
